London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week
London Fashion week is now well underway. Of course, all of us here in Nine Crows are super duper excited about what’s going to explode out onto the runway next, however, it’s the street style that’s been catching our eyes. Notorious trends and devilish divas have been strutting their stuff through London and out on the cobbled streets of Somerset House, in style. The era of the blogger has truly begun and it’s in these girls that I’m beginning to find the future of fashion. I’ve compiled a few of my favorite looks, here goes… Oh! And btw, these are in no particular order. I’m pretty sure we’ll all be able to agree on the fact that they’re all just TOO FAB to chronologize.

  1. Alexa Chung

Classic Chung, this girl never fails to blow me away with her effortlessly cool aura. Alexa rocks it 70’s style in this Shrimps coat and cropped flared jeans, which we just happen to have in stock right about NOW! I’ve got a serious crush on this look. And ehm, when did bold leopard print become so god damn hot?! Chung and BFF Pixie Geldof paired up and made a gruesome twosome, both sporting the Shrimps coat. She just continues to outdo herself. What’s next Alexa? We. Want. More. Watch this space though; we’ve got some great “all things 70’s” to come…

  1. Leanne Woodfull

We love Leanne’s look. Those Marc Jacobs sunnies create just the right amount of chic when paired alongside a punky outfit. Leanne’s attire almost always brings me to a 1970’s Vivienne Westwood. Westwood – Woodfull? Surely the similarities can’t just be a flook? Anyways, rock ‘n’ roll Leanne. In this outfit, Leanne the would fit right into the typical hang out crew of Westwood & McLaren’s primary boutique - Sex. Bang on the King’s Road, defining the “look” of the legendary punk movement. Glad to see someone representing the emerald isle even when in the lovely London, we’re just sorry we couldn’t be there too! Check out Leanne’s blog/Instragram & give her look a go, go on… We know you want to… If you wanna emulate this look you can pick up one of our band-tees.

  1. Pandora Sykes

IN LOVE. Vintage Chanel, vintage varsity… Both, timeless classics but, combine the two and we get something that all of us here in Nine Crows are literally swooning over. I’m writing my letter, “Dear Pandora, whenever you get fed up with your delish Chanel…” This woman of many talents has got the look this Spring. She’s the Style Editor over at the Sunday Times Style Magazine and is most definitely one to watch. I’ve got a feeling this will be the year of the Sykes. Get the chilled out varsity & preppy cheerleader look on our website.

  1. Confetti Crowd

Heidi, Lucy, Heli, Cheyanne and Tiger. These girls have got it sussed and could they be anymore up our alley? Confetti Crowd is Nine Crows’ new found loves. Bold color and cheeky taste, the five fashionistas have shown up at London Fashion Week and absolutely smashed it. The London quintet are soaring above the standards of some of the ‘been there, done that’ bloggers and this isn’t just because of their groovy platforms. 1. Angela Scanlon

Another one of our own, Scanlon has and always will get the crowds attention. I remember seeing a similar look to this in a certain #1970 Vogue Netherlands? I’m beginning to think that green in all shades is the way forward as we ever so slowly approach our Irish summer. Glowing and dainty forever, our lovely Angela accompanies her simple outfit with a cute baby blue fluffy clutch… Are you a fan of fluff & fur like our gal Ang? If so, we’ve got just the thing for you, check this out.

  1. Susie Bubble

Susie has made it big in the world of the blogger since the creation of Style Bubble. Susie sports our homegrown talent, Simone Rocha’s beautiful S/S ‘15 frock & dancing shoes. Thumbing her nose to all those who say fashion & football are completely unrelated, Susie chooses to pair the gown with an Arsenal scarf. Daring? Yes. Fabulous? Yes. Fair dews Susie, you rocked it. (Susie has explained that Arsenal was playing on the day, not that that even matters!)
